While we were in Utah we had two baby showers for this little guy. One with some friends (thank you Shay!) and the other with extended family and friends. It was so great to see friends who have any where from almost three kids to none and compare pregnancy stories and get advice on what to expect. The family baby shower was just as great with many people coming and going for a couple hours. I thought it was a great way to see friends and extended family since we were busy with Christmas and other events with immediate family. I love all the tiny baby clothes, blankets, books, and other fun baby things. We have a good start on what we need for the arrival of this little guy in 3 months! And Charles is building a cradle for us, which I am very excited about. (He might be the favorite uncle because of it... or just higher on my list:)
So now we have the crib, which Brian build last year for his school project (picture's on earlier blog entries), cradle, clothes, a good supply of diapers, and quilts. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts.
