Is it to much to ask?

When we moved back to Utah last August I was excited to get the last of the hot summer days and nights and knew that the next year would bring another summer where I would have to go swimming. Brian didn't really understand what I meant by 'I have to go swimming'. In Oregon it just really never got hot enough for me to 'have to go swimming'. I love the summer time. I love the sun. I love the water. But I don't love it when it's cold in the water or out. So last summer we didn't get to go swimming much because I'm a wimp. (and I had just had a baby and didn't exactly love the bod) Anyways I live in Utah where the summers are hot but it is COLD! Well not really it just has been rainy and thunder storms for the last 2 weeks. This isn't Oregon rain, this is mountain rain that down pours and makes little lakes everywhere. It has done this everyday. One of the days it even hailed. Seriously, June! I want to go to the pool! So does Will! and Brian!

I second that motion. Do you guys have a pool? We should get together one day where you "have to go swimming" and go to either our pool or a splash park, that'd be fun! They said today it has rained 11 of the 15 days in June, that's horrible:( (But kindof nice, we haven't had to use our sprinklers, that's my Polly Anna glad game!)

Ditto that. It has been really rainy here in New York as well, and though I don't have to go swimming often, I have to go to Central Park a lot, and have not been able to do that. Bring on the summer!

Come to (ironically) SUNNY Seattle! Yup we have had non stop sun for 28 days!!! Sun and temps as high as 91 (a record breaker for that time of year). We've been swimming, slip and sliding and play grounding up a storm. But our grass hurts to walk on it's so dry and we are having a wedding recp. on it in 3 weeks, YIKES! So we are praying for a week of rain...go figure, never thought I'd say that. LOL

Have I mentioned how much we miss you guys? Well, we do. Just wanted to throw that out there. However...we will be in Utah in August for a family reunion. We think we are going to drive, so we should have a car, and we want to come see you (and your awesome new house!!) The reunion is actually in Park City, but we will definitely be driving your way. Hope all is well!!

P.S...Will is too cute. I can't wait to see him!!
