Happenings

Last week was awesome! We started with a long weekend in Sand Hollow/ St. George with my family. It was a blast. The beaches around the lake are perfect for the kids. Will has no fear of the water and just loved being outside with his cousins.

Will loved the water!

Later that week we had visitors! Our good friend Shay and her kids were in town. Emily and Shay and all the kids made there way down here for a fun morning.

Shay is so special

Carlee, Kate, Kaden, Porter, Will

Right before that whole crew got here in the morning, I got a call from one of my 'oldest' friend from Pleasanton days. Camille! I haven't seen Camille for about 3 years. She was in town and got a car for the day so she came to see me and Will. It was so fun to see her. I miss you! While she was here we went to the garden for some lettuce. And she took some awesome picture's of what is growing so far. This is our first attempt at a garden and so far so good. Our lettuce has been awesome, and there is hope for a least one good pepper. Hopefully our green beans and zucchini do something. We also have tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries, basil, beats, and a butternut squash that will hopefully be delicious!

One of the two peppers going strong!

We love fresh lettuce.

That is going to be one good zucchini!

Will helping someone's garden! (we have our garden in the community gardens they have in DayBreak, it's raised beds with good soil and water right there!)

Me and Camille

We had so much fun. Don't we both look so good in our glasses :)

Your garden looks so great. I also love to grow lettuce--it tastes so much better than what you get in the store, and it grows so easily! What a cool thing that they have community gardens in Daybreak.
