Camping at Silver Falls, Oregon

So the rare occasion happened the weekend of the 11th, we went CAMPING!!! Brian actually left all homework behind and 'didn't think about school all weekend'. We went with Brooke and Ryan Mattice and Kelly and Justin Aida our good friends here in Eugene. Silver Falls is a national park up by Salem (hour north of Eugene) with ten gorgeous water falls all within about 3 miles of each other. Even though it rained, like it always does on the weekends here, it was a blast. We had tin foil dinners, peach cobbler and had enough food to last a couple weeks, but the boys said bring enough food so we did! Brian and Ryan went on a good bike ride, a little longer than expected but a good run. It was nice to be able to relax around the campfire and make smores and just hang out with everyone. The trees are everywhere here, thanks to all the great rain. I couldn't believe the waterfalls, how many in such a small distance and how big they were. The largest one was 179 feet! It was a great weekend with friends camping.
